Terms of service
Plain language first, and the clauses that actually matter to you near the top.
Last updated 11 September 2026
1. What the service is
ADM is a subscription platform for creating, personalising and sending outbound business-to-business campaigns, and on some plans for generating prospect data. You use it to contact people you have a lawful basis to contact.
2. Your list is yours
Contacts you import remain yours. We process them to deliver the service and for nothing else. We do not sell, rent or share your contact data, we do not use one customer's contacts to generate leads for another, and we do not train models on your data. You are the controller of that data and we are your processor — the data processing addendum is the contractual version of this.
3. Acceptable use
This is the section to read properly. ADM is a business-to-business tool and these are conditions of use, not guidance. The full detail is in the sending policy, which forms part of these terms.
You may not use ADM to:
- Market to private individuals in their personal capacity. ADM is for contacting people at businesses, about their work.
- Send to purchased or scraped consumer lists, in any market, whatever consent is claimed for them.
- Send to anyone who has unsubscribed or objected, or attempt to circumvent the suppression list — including by re-importing a suppressed address.
- Impersonate another organisation or person, or send from a domain you do not control.
- Disguise the commercial nature of a message, or omit the sender's identity, postal address or the means to opt out.
- Send content unlawful in the recipient's jurisdiction.
- Send into a market requiring prior consent for business recipients without holding that consent or an existing customer relationship covering the offer. The product tells you which recipients these are before you send.
What you are responsible for. The lawfulness of your own sending: your basis for contacting the people on your list, honouring objections, and complying with the rules of the markets you send into. ADM classifies your recipients, warns you about personal mailboxes and consent-required markets, carries the required disclosure in every email, and records what you were shown — but it does not make the decision for you, and none of it is legal advice.
What we do about breaches. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section, and we may do so immediately and without refund where the breach risks the deliverability or legal position of other customers on the platform. We would rather lose one subscription than the sending reputation everyone else depends on.
4. What we do not promise
We do not guarantee inbox placement, open rates, reply rates or revenue. We report exactly what our sending platform reports. Deliverability depends substantially on your domain reputation, your list quality and your content.
5. Plans, limits and changes
Each plan carries the limits published on the pricing page and enforced in the product. Upgrades take effect within the hour. Downgrades are handled with you so nothing is deleted without your knowledge. We give 30 days' notice of price changes and of material changes to these terms.
6. Ending it
You can cancel at any time and export your contacts and campaign history before you go. On termination we delete or return your contact data at your choice, as set out in the DPA — except suppression records, which are retained so that somebody's opt-out cannot be undone by a later import.
7. The usual clauses
[Liability cap and exclusions, indemnity, warranty disclaimer, intellectual property, confidentiality, force majeure, assignment, governing law and forum, dispute resolution.] Deliberately not drafted here — these are the clauses where boilerplate from the wrong jurisdiction does real damage, and they need your counsel rather than ours.
